“ECO-MAN-MADE”
Ecology, which
is the study of the relationship of plants and animals
to their physical and biological environment. The physical environment includes
light and heat or solar radiation, moisture, wind, oxygen, carbon dioxide,
nutrients in soil, water, and atmosphere. The biological environment includes
organisms of the same kind as well as other plants and animals.
Because of the diverse
approaches required to study organisms in their environment, ecology draws upon
such fields as climatology, hydrology, oceanography, physics, chemistry,
geology, and soil analysis. To study the relationships between organisms,
ecology also involves such disparate sciences as animal behavior, taxonomy,
physiology, and mathematics.
In this
relationship, the animals are more proactive and has a greater liberty to cause
changes while the later is 100% responsive to its action. Trees cannot produce
human beings but human beings can plant trees. When there is no fairness and
mutuality in this relationship as a result of ignorance of by either party, the
product of their relationship been the resultant atmospheric condition will
cause climatic change.
Eco-man-made is
a study that shows that whatever is the climatic condition of the earth, human
being are the chief manipulators, the environment is the fairest thing ever, it
does not bear grudge, never withholds whatever is in its position, it is not
answerable to us rather we are answerable to it by the activities with our
plant friends, these activities which we have a greater control on, also has greater
harm on us. Come to think of it, a simple biological process states that man
exhales carbon(iv)oxide during respiration and plants inhales, plants exhales
oxygen (an important gas required for life) during photosynthesis and man
inhales.
This
relationship should be mutual, non of the party should intimidate the other as
a result of superiority. When we exhale carbon(iv)oxide and there is no plant
to inhale it, there will be a bum around, that is to say that they
carbon(iv)oxide, will mix with the oxygen in the air and you will still inhale
it back, making the available oxygen toxic.
Global warming
which is the measurable increase in the temperature of the atmosphere as a
result of greenhouse gasses is rooted in man’s activities. Since the beginning
of the Industrial Revolution in the mid-1700s, however, human activities have
added more and more of these gases into the atmosphere. For example, levels of carbon
dioxide, a powerful greenhouse gas, have risen by 35 percent since 1750,
largely from the burning of fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas.
With more greenhouse gases in the mix, the atmosphere acts like a thickening
blanket and traps more heat.
Global warming is chiefly caused carbon (IV) oxide in the atmosphere
which has the capability to absorb the heat emitted by the sun during the day,
it retains it in the atmosphere and keeps it warm even when the sun has set. Other
greenhouse gasses include Methane, Nitrous
Oxide.
In a warmer world, scientists
predict that more people will get sick or die from heat stress, due not only to
hotter days but more importantly to warmer nights (giving the sufferers less
relief). More frequent and intense heat waves will further contribute to this
trend. At the same time, there will be some decreases in the number of
cold-related deaths. Diseases such as malaria, now found in the tropics and
transmitted by mosquitoes and other animal hosts, are projected to widen their
range as these animal hosts move into regions formerly too cold for them. Other
tropical diseases may spread similarly, including dengue fever, yellow fever,
and encephalitis. Scientists also project rising incidence of allergies and
respiratory diseases as warmer air grows more charged with pollutants, mold
spores, and pollens.
In as much as much as man
contributed to this climatic disorder, the good news is that we can also reduce
these greenhouse gasses by planting more trees that will take excess
carbon(iv)oxide away from the atmosphere and reduce burning. This is to inform
man that he is the maker of the ecosystem, your environment is your health and
you have a role to play. Start treating your environment right and you will
ever receive fairness from it. Stagnant water is a breeding ground for
mosquitoes, and mosquitoes is the vector that carries malaria parasite avoid it.
